One year in, and dealing with anticipated difficulties: wanting to get things done/made, not having the easy access to info or connections on top of the language barrier. Who develops film for cheap here? Where do I get prints made? There’s no Opus or DeSerres art supply shop around here. If I wanted to make the above into a large silkscreen print in Vancouver, I’d drop by Blim, pay a few dollars, roll up my sleeves and put on an apron and get to work. Good thing I like challenges.
