Once again, like Patton Oswalt, Bill Hicks, Lenny Bruce, George Carlin—-I bow to thee. Comedians are the only holders of any sort of true wisdom, IMHO. Comparitively, artists aren’t half as dialled-in as they’d like to think they are.

This is one of the things about contemporary art/artists as far as the whole “mining for profound truths”/”cutting social critique” ego-puff that I find amusing. They don’t hold a candle to stand-up comics.
