I have Britt to thank for the introduction to Gang Gang Dance. Like Blonde Redhead, GGD make me feel nervous or worried about something when I’m listening to them. It’s a weird sensation. And it probably doesn’t make a lot of sense, but there’s something about BR and GGD that make me feel as though I should expect bad news in the near future. Go figure? Regardless of all that, they’re still so awesome. I need to see them live.
One of the best things I’ve heard this year (“oddball 2008 track” edition).
Is it me or is tumblr having some audio post issues?
Anyways- GGD is shiny acidic glee and paranoiac rapture, dancing in a dodgy place where you know a few people are packing heat. Speedy psychedelics.
