In order to get to Koyasan you must…
1. Go to Shinimamiya Station, located in southern Osaka City
2. Hop on the Nankai Railway and ride that for 30 stops to Hashimoto
3. At Hashimoto transfer to an even smaller mountain train and take that to Gokurakubashi Station.
4. Then transfer the the cable car up to Koya
5. Once at Koya take a bus from the station to the town.
6. From bus stop walk to your temple lodging.
